Priya is brought into the world in December 1989 and experience childhood in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Her folks father Bhavani Shankar and mother Thangam Bhavani Shankar. She finished her tutoring at SBOA Matriculation and Higher Secondary School, Chennai. Subsequent to finishing her school Priya has joined B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Engineering College for her B.E. Graduation. She worked in Infosys as a programmer prior to going into media.
Subsequent to leaving her place of employment in Infosys in 2011, Priya joined Puthiya Thalaimurai as News Reader. She worked in the media for three long a long time from 2011 to 2014 and afterward wanting to move from the channel. She got a proposal to act in Vijay Television for a sequential in 2014. Priya endorsed as lead entertainer in Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai, the every day arrangement which broadcasting in Vijay Television since 2014.
